ACAM has played a vital part in integrative medicine over the last 50-plus years. The founders, the "pioneers," who established the organization shared important knowledge and cutting-edge research that wasn't being taught elsewhere. They listened to their patients, took risks, and grew an organization of doctors who helped patients around the world.
